Welcome to KSCC Website. A new and yet continual
growing time in our church family. God is so good 2nd
Timothy 3: 16-17. All scripture is God-breathed and is
useful for teaching, rebuilding, correcting, and teaching in
righteousness, so that the man of God may be throughly
equipped for every good work (NIV).
We are Truly growing, Spiritually, as a family unit. As any
family there are from tine to time differences of opinion,
however through PRAYER and open communication we
are trained and corrected by His guidance.
We are a growing House for the Lord and we are in need
of more room for teaching, worshipping, and ministry.
Our year to date average attendance is 128 and for the
past 2 months it has been 132. With this number and all
the activity that is going on we need space.
A new addition has been approved by the Board of
Trustees Our contractor has given us a price of $262,000
which includes air conditioning. With new equipment that
will be needed we are looking at $275,000. We currently
have a mortgage balance of $174,000. This would bring
us to $449,000. We are in the process of raising
$100,000 so we can start this project.
We currently have 147 members in the church of which we
have 91 giving units. Of the 91 giving units I am asking 20
units to come forth with a $5,000 gift to the Lord.
This being a time of year when we give Thanks for all He
has given us and a time of Preparations for God's
Greatest Gift, His Son. May we prepare our hearts to Give
a special Gift this year. I will keep you updated.

Update from the Knapps Station Community Church
Newsletter dated February 2011:

Trustee Report:
Tim Marshall has drawn up a preliminary sketch showing
how phase 2 would look with the addition of office and
shower space. Tim has given us an estimated figure of
$261,000.00 which includes new carpet through out and
air conditioning. Total addition size would be 60'X44' and
would include an office, chapel, restroom's, shower, small
coffee area and the 60'X20' additional Sanctuary space.

Phase II of the Building Project - the trustees brought the
suggestion to the Administrative Board to vote on the
progression of Phase II. Discussion was held. Prayerfully,
we can begin construction in the Spring. A motion was
made to continue with Phase II with or without desired
$100,000 to start. Motion carried. (from annual Board
Meeting)
