MEALS MINSTRY

Doing What’s Needed

One way for us to reach out to those in our community is by providing meals for those in need.  Meals are provided to those who are incapacitated due to illnesses, surgeries, etc., to assist them during their recovery period.

OTHER MINISTRIES

Making a Difference

Cards and Phone Ministry: The ministry consist of sending cards to or calling shut-ins, nursing home residents, and the hospitalized.  This group of volunteers also sends cards to those who are ill, those who have suffered the loss of a loved one, or those going through difficult situations.

Home and Hospital Visits: These volunteers visit the shut-ins and others who perhaps cannot get out to come to church or elsewhere.  They also are in need of human contact and greatly appreciate having someone visit them.  We also make every effort to see that members of our congregation and others receive visitors while they are hospitalized, especially if it's for an extended period of time.

Transportation Ministry: For people who need transportation to get to doctor appointments, medical tests, treatment sessions, and other errands, we have a group of volunteers who are willing to provide this service.
